Three Weeks Old Today......

Anna and Liam are out of the hospital and back to their temporary home in Germany.  Soon they will be able to get back to Anna's base.  I know they can't wait to get home and settled in.

He's HERE!!!!!

Liam Alexander Perry arrived in Germany today, Wednesday, November 27, 2013.  Mommy says: 
Baby Liam has arrived! Here in Germany he was born November 27th at 0556, thanks to Jason Perry's big head he weighed 9lbs 2.4 ounces.

Isn't he absolutely gorgeous!!!  Anna and Grandma say he looks like his Daddy!!

Update on Due Date.....

Anna's due date is today!!  Here is an update from her.  Getting anxious to meet the little man!!

"Ok so now I'm not to be induced until the 29th due to the fact that my cervix is like not dilated at all and dr thinks it's better to give it more time to progress. It will make the inducing easier and less risks of having a c- section due to cervix not being ready enough she believes and it may give him more time to come on his own. So new date is 29th. I have a Non stress test on the 26th and they will do an ultrasound to make sure baby is still ok to stay in there until 29th."

39 Weeks Update....

Liam Status Update

Anna tells us:   So 39 weeks this week, just waiting and waiting. if he doesn't come soon hes scheduled to be evicted on the 25th (induced). plus side I saw Ender's Game on Monday and it was AMAZING! do yourself and see it. best movie movie seen in awhile.

 

39 Weeks and Holding....

Anna is 39 weeks and holding.  Excited to hear of Liam has made any moves to come out and greet us yet...

38 Weeks.....

Anna had her 38 week appointment today and she says: 

"Had my 38 week appointment today, midwife says everything looks good and baby looks great! Now he just needs to get here and go ahead and come on out. mommy is tired of waiting and does not want to go to 40 weeks"

Hear that little man - time to come out and play.  :-)  

Happy November!!!

Wow - it's November 1st!  Liam's Birth Month!!  We are all pretty excited and I know Anna is ready to evict the little man.  Won't be long now!!

Anytime Now.....

Well Anna has hit the 37 week mark and she is ready for Little Liam to make his debut!!  Won't be long now and we can't wait. 

New Assignment....

Anna let us all know today that she has received her next assignment. She says  "Got the email yesterday, the Perry family's next assignment will be Whitman AFB, Missouri. Near Kansas City for those who don't know the area."  We are so excited for them and happy they will be returning to the States!  So the Perry family will be moving sometime next year around May!  Awesome!!!

It's Getting Close.....

Anna is just past the 36 week mark and had a good doctor's appointment this week.  She is hoping for a Halloween Baby!  Wouldn't that be soo cool!!  We are all very excited and can't wait to see the Little Man!  Oh and by the way Anna and Jason are in Germany now - pictured here at a restaurant there.  Baby Liam will be delivered there and then they will return to the Azores.  So exciting!  What stories Liam will have to tell about his birth!

Sock Monkeys.....

 We had to put up a couple more pictures of the adorable cake that our friend Leah at The Sugar Shack made for us!  It was melt in your mouth good - I just wish that Anna and Jason could have had a taste.  We were able to lift the adorable little monkey off the cake and pop it into a cup cake holder provided by GG (Great Grandma) and freeze it for when Anna, Jason and Liam come for a visit next year.  Hope he loves it as much as we did!!

More Shower Fun...

Oh my what a wonderful time we had!  This picture shows Gina, Clay and Kelly talking to Anna and Jason on Skype.The second one you can actually see Anna and Jason as they chat with Grandma Julie!  It was just like they were here with us.  So much joy and laughter and we were able to see the baby's room too.  Below are more pics of the joy and fun we had.

Shower is Tomorrow!!!

We are getting pretty excited here!  The shower is tomorrow and preparations are underway!  We have a special cake coming tomorrow morning - can't wait to see it.  Our friend, Leah, here in town at The Sugar Shack is making it for us.  We are taking lots of pics as we go so that Mommy can see it all.

Anna had a little short visit to the hospital this week and had to spend a few days there in Portugal.  She is much better now and on bed rest hoping that Baby Liam will hang in until she hits the 37 week mark.  Be patient little man!  We are all so excited to see you but we can wait.
